Hearts Again is an independent UK guide for people dating again later in life, whether that’s after divorce, after losing a partner, or after years out of the dating world.
Most “best dating site” pages are written for twenty-somethings, or exist mainly to push readers towards whichever app pays the highest commission. We want to do something more useful: help you decide which services suit your circumstances, what they really cost, how to stay safe, and how to handle the parts of modern dating that nobody explains.
What we do
- Compare dating services on the things that matter to people over 40: who uses them, how matching works, what’s free, what you have to pay for, and how easy it is to cancel.
- Check prices regularly and show the date they were last checked.
- Publish practical guides on starting again, profiles, messaging, first dates, ghosting and later-life relationships.
- Take safety seriously. Romance fraud disproportionately affects older daters, so we cover it in depth.
Who’s behind it
Hearts Again was founded by Uchenna, our publisher and consumer research editor. He oversees platform research, pricing checks, comparisons and our testing methodology. First-hand dating experiences come from members of our UK dating panel and named contributors. We don’t present anyone as having experiences they haven’t had.
