The Hearts Again dating panel is a group of real UK adults, mostly aged 45 to 70, who are dating now or have dated recently. They tell us what it’s actually like to use dating apps, meet people and start again.
What panel members do
- Share first-hand experiences of dating sites and apps
- Answer short surveys about dating habits, costs and safety
- Test services and report back
- Review our guides and tell us what we got wrong
How we handle privacy
Panel members can choose to appear with a changed first name, their age and area, for example “Sarah, 56, Manchester (name changed for privacy)”. We always say when a name has been changed. We keep private records confirming that every contributor is real, but we never publish anyone’s surname, photos or contact details without their explicit consent.

We’re recruiting now. If you live in the UK, are aged roughly 45 to 70, and are dating or have dated recently, we’d love to hear from you. There’s no obligation, and you choose what you help with. Contributors may receive a small thank-you payment for surveys and testing tasks.
